Dear New Resident

Welcome to the Municipality of Høje-Taastrup. I hope you will settle in quickly.

Regardless of whether you came here as a student, a family or a single or senior citizen, we are doing our utmost to create the best facilities for living a good and active life here, where you can combine the pulse of the city with experiences in nature.

You will find lots of activities within the field of culture and leisure for children and adults, such as the opera in Hedeland, tennis, archery and theater in the School of Theatre. Please find more information in the leaflet attached to your letter of welcome.

As the companies situated within our municipality have more than 40,000 workplaces, there are plenty of job opportunities – also for you.

In other words: We believe that we have much to offer. Therefore, I am inviting you and your family on a guided tour by bus, where I will tell you about our municipality along the way. Participating is free of charge. However, children should be old enough to be able to listen and understand.
